I know (by Andreas Yonatan)

I know you…
Ever since the world was created…
When you’re still in your mother’s womb…
And when you shed your first tears, being born in this world helpless…

I know…
All the courses you will take…
All the decisions you will make…
All your success’ and failures…
And all your thoughts and desires…

I know…
All your moments of laughters…
And all your moments of tears…
And I want you to know…
I was there, rejoicing and crying with you…

I know…
The times when I will visit you…
When you will refuse Me and when you will let Me in…
When you will fall in love with Me…
And when you will run away from Me, then when you will return…

I know…
When you will make me smile by your obediences and compassions…
And when you will hurt me by your sins…
And I want you to know…
Those moments, joyful or painful, were precious to Me…

I know…
All your days…
All your life…
All the times we will share…
And all the journeys we will go through together…

I know you, everything about you…
For you are My son…
And I am Your Father…

The love lies

Last night before I slept, I was remembered of someone. And when I remembered her, suddenly this revelation came one by one, words by words. But I was too tired and sleepy. So I decided to hold the writing. And today, I post it here. Well the topic is about the meaning of love. These things here were once truth about love between a man and a woman, but the meaning of them have been perverted by the devil. So now these things have became lies. Check these out :

1. Love is a CHANCE
They say, “Love comes and goes, wherever it pleases. You cannot stop or deny it. Rather, give thanks for it.” Yes, falling in love for someone is unpredicted, unplanned. But it doesn’t mean that you have to use the CHANCE everytime it came. It’s a CHANCE to prove yourself that, “I could make the difference between the right and wrong, and I’ll stand by God obeying His will, even if I have to deny myself.” and when you finally meet the one from Him, you will say, “Now this is the CHANCE for me to show the world what I’ve been sowing this time, all of my obedience to God has come to a time for me to reap.”

2. Love is a CHOICE
They say, “When you fall in love, you have to decide to continue loving or not. Don’t reject it and regret in the future for not making the right choice by deciding to love him/her.” Yes, falling in love is not a decision, but to continue for the feeling to grow or to fade is a decision! And not all your “falling in love” is from God. In fact, only one that is. The rest could come by your own flesh, or the devil. Love is a CHOICE to please only yourself, or to please God.

3. Love is ETERNAL
They say, “A true love is endless, even unto death, like Romeo and Juliet.” Yes, a true love is endless, but not between man and woman. For when you return home to Heaven, no one there is marrying or given into marriage. You are the bride, and you will be given marriage only to Jesus Christ, your True Groom, your ETERNAL love.

4. Love is SACRIFICE
They say, “Because love is a choice, then it’s okay when we choose someone, even if it’s against The Lord’s will, that we bear the consequences of it, for the sake of the one we chose, for the sake of love.” This is the worst lie the devil has taught, because her mission was always to make all of God’s best plans, blessings and purposes in your life fails. By this, she completed her mission. But God has never taught you a SACRIFICE like this. For Him, “Had the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD?” A true sacrifice of love is praying for the life of the one God has prepared for you, and endure, waiting for the best time for you two to be united. This is the true meaning of love is SACRIFICE!

5. Love is “ALL ABOUT YOU
They say, “When I love you, it is all about you. Your pleasures, your happiness, the best for you.” Yes it is true, but not what best according to his/her eyes, not to fulfil his/her own desires. “ALL ABOUT YOU” here means what’s best according to God’s eyes for him/her, even if it won’t please him/her or hurt him/her.

So now it is exposed how the devil has tricked many people by these love lies. For sometimes things could look good or right, but it doesn’t mean that they are righteousness.

Now replying to this truth, comes another question : “Is GOD your master or your slave?” Many people tought that involving God means falling in love to someone, and then decide to build a serious relationship, and then ask The Lord to bless them. But God will answer, “Am I your servant that you ask me to help you doing the things that you decided by yourself? If I’m your master, then you should have inquired of Me before you decided to take further steps. Did you think that I always agree with you in all your doings, did you think that all your decisions is righteousness? Did you ever ask Me what I think about him/her? Did you even know that she is your rib, or he is the man whose rib I has taken from, to form you? If you put Me on the first priority in your life, you would have seek My face first before making any decisions.”

You know, God brought Adam and Eve to be united not only by CHANCE and CHOICE, but by FAITH! A FAITH that it is His best plans for their sakes! You are to find your true love not just by CHANCE and CHOICE, but by FAITH! And FAITH only works with proper actions that in accord with the will of God! And those proper actions is called obedience! God bless you!

Some of you might wonder, why I use the term Godly Man = Extra Ordinary Gentleman. Easy, for me a Godly Man must be a Gentleman. But something added to him that makes him more than just an ordinary Gentleman. What differs them? First, a Godly Man surely have the value of God, the wisdom of God, not the wisdom and understanding of man. And what makes a wisdom of God different from the wisdom of man. Or what makes an understanding of God different from the understanding of man.

Read Proverbs 9:10;

The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.

Now of course, an ordinary Gentleman without God is impossible to possess the wisdom and understanding of God. And I dare to say that the wisdom and understanding of God is perfect, it is flawless, not like the one of a man. So a Godly Man must be a thousand times, even more, wiser than an ordinary Gentleman. Next, is their achievements. Imagine, an ordinary man trying to achieve things on this earth by his own strength which is limited, compared to a man trying to achieve the same thing, but by the power of God who is the creator of everything. Of course the results will be different. And I bet the achievements of a Godly Man is a thousand times, even more than the achievements of an ordinary Gentleman.

Now long time ago, The Holy Spirit revealed me this quote;

A Gentleman focuses on honor, pride, and dignity. But a Godly man focuses on love, compassion, and righteousness.

What are people chasing in this world, especially man? Easy, the three ultimate needs, LOVE, POWER, and MONEY. This is what the devil taught you! If you have these, then you will surely be happy! But God didn’t say that. His first law is clear in Matthew 22:36;

Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.

And the second law is also there at verse 39;

And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself.

From this two laws, we can conclude that all of our life is about God and others, not ourself.

Now, recently I’ve been reminded of this quote;

A man’s dignity is determined by how far he can stand his ground, a man’s pride is determined by his achievements, a man’s worth is determined by what he can bring to the table.

Almost all ordinary Gentleman adopted this teaching. But let it be far from a Godly Man! Why? Isn’t this quote cool?

Okay, now I want you to pay attention of every statements written here. Then you will find that everything here is about You! From You, by You, and for You, Your pride, Your Honor, Your Dignity, You! You know whom do you sound like when you read this quote? Lucifer, the father of selfishness and arrogancy. Yes, this is one of his snares. This quote is foolish! I once was here and I was a fool! Do you know where this quote will lead you? It will lead you to selfishness, arrogancy, and materialism. Men will try their best focusing on how to collect more and more money, and becoming the best in everything, that people will see nobody else but You! It’s all about You! Leaving all the love and compassion towards others. No wonder many successful people suffer broken homes.

Now look at the life of Jesus Christ while he lived here on earth. He was born in a stable, living the life of a carpenter, and everything that He did here was for The Father and for the humans, not for himself, not about himself. He was hanged there on the cross, cursed by God, for You! He remembered your face and dare not to imagine how will it be living in Heaven without You!

Now I believe this quote was revealed to me by The Holy Spirit for the Godly Man;

A Godly Man’s dignity is determined by how strong can he bear the cross of Jesus Christ in his life, a Godly Man’s pride is The Lord, and a Godly Man’s worth is the most expensive price of the blood of Jesus Christ and how big is His love for his God.

So the ladies might now wonder, “Okay then now I should have a poor man, infamous, or precisely, a looser. Is that what you mean?”

Nope, this is not what God means. His Words haven’t done yet.

A Godly Man doesn’t speak about being a looser in every kinds of fields, of not being the best among others. The difference is that the first priority of a Godly Man is to seek the Kingdom of God, not the success, not the blessings, while and ordinary Gentleman seeks only the success and the blessings.

Read Matthew 6:31-33;

Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Seek God first and everything will follow! Your hard works will yield their fruits because God blesses them. If you struggle to be the best, by His favor you will become the best. But the difference is you work hard for Him and others, not for yourself! Everything you do is about Him and others, not about yourself!

Read Zechariah 4:6;

Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit, says the LORD Almighty.

I will give you examples from The Bible between a Godly Man and an ordinary Gentleman (you can skip this part if you wish) :

1. Abraham and Lot.

Abraham was older than Lot. He could choose first the land He wanted to stop the quarrel between them. But he humbled himself that time and let Lot chose first. And Lot chose the best land, well watered, like the garden of The Lord, but he didn’t care about the wicked people that inhabited the land there. And now look at the ending, Abraham was blessed marvelously, while Lot lost everything he got when Sodom and Gomorrah were punished by God.

2. David and his brothers.

Now look at King David. He was not as big and tough as his brothers when he was a boy. He was only a shepherd, while his brothers, mighty war soldiers. But David has never complaint to God about his job. His life was only about worshipping and seeking God. Seven times a day he came to worship God. He was a humble man, even until He became a king, he was still a humble man. You could read the entire book of Psalm, and discovered that David has never cared about all the wealth and power He possessed. He only longed for God’s words and to dwell in His presence. So you can see the ending of the story. David, from a shepherd to a king, while his brothers remain being war soldiers.

3. Daniel and the other young men.

That time, Daniel and some young men were trained for three years to be such special servants for the king of the Babylonians. All of the people might have competed one another, eating the best foods provided, and trained themselves well. But Daniel rejected to defile himself with the royal food. Instead, He asked only vegetables to eat. He loved His God. And the result was clear, Daniel was found healthier and well nourished than any of the young men who ate the royal food. More than that, God blessed him so bad that he was found ten times better than all the magicians and enchanters in his whole kingdom.

Conclusion :

Now you can decide to be just an ordinary Gentleman or to become an Extra Ordinary Gentleman. I was there before, trying to be such a Gentleman, to be the best all the time, having those high dreams, competed with others until I hurted myself. And I found out that life was somehow very tiring and distressing. But now after I let go of everything and follow God wholeheartedly, I believe blessings and success won’t be far, and I won’t be loosing from those ordinary Gentleman either. God won’t make ashame of His children. But all by His grace, not by my might or strength. As to become an Extra Ordinary Gentleman, I only long for this one thing in my life, that God will say this word to me one day, just as He has said about His servant David, “I have found Andreas, a man after My own heart, he will do everything I want him to do.”

God just hate arrogant people, but He loves the humble. Arise you, man of God!

True love-ing a woman

I decided to write this topic to Christian men to simplify the formula of how to love and date a woman according to God’s will. For years, I’ve learned the principles of how to build serious relationship from the teachings of many churches or pastors, reading many religious books and articles, and sharing with brothers and sisters in Christ. And somehow, all of these principles could be different from one believer to another, as we all came from various backgrounds, living in various communities, and experiencing different realities in lifes.

First of all, I’d like to get one thing straight here. We’re not talking about how to date properly, but how to keep pleasing The Lord when  we are to build serious relationship with  a woman, as we know God created every man and woman to unite at a determined time here on earth as a husband and wife.

Can I kiss my girl on a date? Or is it okay to be jealous? Now all of these things here which I called as “the way you date” which includes how you interact, the boundaries, the rules, etc comes from the LOVE. And LOVE here could have many definitions. There are three kinds of love :

1. Eros (physical)

- It is based on personal interest for physical being. Usually occurs at the first time you see a woman. I love her because she is pretty. The romantic feeling common in Eros is natural, and an important part of a relationship between a man and a woman. If not, how could we be attracted only by certain women, why not all of them? This is natural. I think many of us started a serious relationship with a woman with this kind of love.

2. Philos (friendship)

- This is the advanced type of love, stronger than the Eros. Philos is a mutual love, based on the principle of “give and take”. You start out as friends, then admire each other, then possibly strong emotions can suddenly appear over time and you both realize you miss each other more. It takes time, and is patient. Well this kind of love usually appears after intense communications by time.

3. Agape (unconditional)

- Now ladies and gentlemen, this is the ultimate love which we know as “true love”. This is God’s love to us, and it is impossible for humans to love like this. But as we get closer to God and live by His love, we will learn to love people like He does, with Agape. Read 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 for the definition of true love :

Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

So how am I going to fall in love to a woman with Agape. Well, it’s impossible. Everybody started from Eros or Philos when they fall in love. But after you wear the wedding ring and proclaim the wedding vow, that is the time where you decide to upgrade your love to Agape, the unconditional love. So don’t feel guilty when you fall in love to a woman by Eros or Philos, it is natural. You just have to be sure that she is the one God has prepared for you. So it’s better to keep your heart pure and not letting the love grow as you’re trying to get God’s confirmation about this woman whom you fall in love with. Dating to know a woman is absolutely not recommended! (dating here means you guys decided to call each other boyfriend and girlfriend) If you want to know a woman more, then make friends with her, that is enough.

So everything that happens when you date a woman, the thing which is called “the way you date”, will come automatically by the love that you have for her. If you keep loving her by Eros, no wonder you keep lusting after her all the time, or if you keep loving her by Philos, no wonder you always expect a return for everything that you’ve done to her and complain when she doesn’t. So if you want to know how to “true love” your soulmate, practice the love in 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 towards her, and she will be the luckiest woman on earth to have you as her soulmate. Well I pray for everyone who read this article here, will end up holy when they are about to be united before the altar of The Lord. I include my personal experience below if you wish to read it. God bless you…

My personal experience :

I was 21 when I seriously fall in love with a girl. She was absolutely pretty. But I didn’t fall in love that time, I was just attracted. Then after some chats, I knew her more and she became dependant to me. She was a new Christian that time. I gave my ears to hear her struggles and my heart to help her in prayers. Well she had just a very complicated life, and I tried my best to settle everything in order. By time, I started to fall in love with her, and so did her. I think my love that time was Philos, love that was generated by intense communications between the two of us. So then, we made an agreement to build a more serious relationship. I have to tell you that I was raised up in a strong Christian community with high standards. As one of the ministry leader that time, I ought to give good examples for the congregation. We even have standard that we are not allowed to hold our girlfriend’s hands. So crazy right? But I tried my best to obey it. The way we dated that time was led by my love and my standards. Even though she had her standards that time, but I think I dominated the rules back there, and I felt that sometimes it frustrated her. I never held her hands when we dated, except when her feet were hurted that she could barely walk. I’ve never hugged her, at least not by accidents because she was such a spoiled girl that she often hid my keys when I’m about to go home, so I have to struggle with her to obtain the keys and sometimes it could involve physical contacts. She was naughty. ^^ But I’ve never looked at her with lust when I touched her. I remember the day when she laid in her bed, sick. I really wanted to kiss her forehead that time to show her that I love her, but The Holy Spirit reminded me not to, so I obeyed. You know everything that I experienced here were the realization of my love for her. That time I treated her like my wife and so I learned to love her with Agape, which is written in 1 Corinthians 13:4-8. Well I don’t expect you to do the same thing like me here, but the closer you are to God, the more you know which things please Him and which don’t. God bless…

The favor of God

This is a very important topic that I highly recommend you to read. It could change your life forever. Because without the favor of God, you will be consuming yourself, struggling for things which actually could be just easy for you to conquer, which results in wasting most of your times in certain struggles and reducing your total achievements here on earth. But what a pity not many people know this secret. Read it carefully, and pray for The Holy Spirit to speak personally to you.

1. What is favor?

A. Compared to yourself :

- Kindness or treatment of generosity and goodwill far beyond what would normally deserve or expected.

B. Compared to others :

- Special regards, exceptional kindness to a chosen human, extra kindness in comparison to the treatment of others or preferential treatment.

2. The attributes of God’s favor :

A. Based on love

- This is the basic, as we know when we love someone, we will favors him/her. And when we love him/her more, we will add more of our favor towards him/her. So somehow, I believe since the first time we accepted Jesus as our savior, God has started to give His favor towards us. By time, as we love Him more, it will increase.

B. Absolute grace

- Given by God’s freewill, not obtained by humans efforts. Ex, Salvation.

C. Unique

- Everyone receives favor at their own degrees. Ex, One receives a talent, other receives 2 talents, etc. But the more you love God, the more you’ll earn His favor by degrees.

Read Job 34:19;

Who shows no partiality to princes and does not favor the rich over the poor, for they are all the work of his hands?

D. Addable

- To obtain extra favor is possible. Ex, A loyal servant that received 2 talents, returns to the master 4 talents, so now he will be trusted 4 talents by his master.

Do not envy of other’s success or wealthiness. If God wanted to give you a million, but others 5 millions, it was His rights, for it was His money to whom He wanted to give. We could only ask the favor to be multiplied in our life.

3. The benefits of God’s favor :

A. Obtain blessings and success in life, break the impossibilities.

“Forget everything you possess or everything that you are able to, they’re all nothing but grace!”

Read the story of Esther, imagine this is the American Idol. First, she won favor in the sight of Hegai, audition level 1.

Esther 2:9;

The girl pleased him and won his favor. Immediately he provided her with her beauty treatments and special food. He assigned to her seven maids selected from the king’s palace and moved her and her maids into the best place in the harem.

Then she won favor in the sight of all the other competitors and the attendants, audition level 2.

Esther 2:15;

When the turn came for Esther (the girl Mordecai had adopted, the daughter of his uncle Abihail) to go to the king, she asked for nothing other than what Hegai, the king’s eunuch who was in charge of the harem, suggested. And Esther won the favor of everyone who saw her.

The last she won the king’s favor, made her won the price to become the queen, final audition.

Esther 2:17;

Now the king was attracted to Esther more than to any of the other women, and she won his favor and approval more than any of the other virgins. So he set a royal crown on her head and made her queen instead of Vashti.

In any field you are into right now, there is always a competition to win. Only God’s favor could bring you true victory among the others. So when you’re working on something, seek for His favor, and you will be successful. Hardwork is truly necessary, but it won’t determine your success, for the fear of The Lord is much more important than hardwork. In case you’re not sure of this concept, read Psalm 90:17;

May the favor of the Lord our God rest upon us; establish the work of our hands for us; Yes, establish the work of our hands.

And all the good things that God has prepared for you will follow as written in Psalm 84:11;

For the LORD God is a sun and shield; the LORD bestows favor and honor; no good thing does he withhold from those whose walk is blameless.

B. Save others’ lifes.

Back to the story of Esther. Read Esther 7:3-4;

Then Queen Esther answered, “If I have found favor with you, O king, and if it pleases your majesty, grant me my life, this is my petition. And spare my people, this is my request. For I and my people have been sold for destruction and slaughter and annihilation. If we had merely been sold as male and female slaves, I would have kept quiet, because no such distress would justify disturbing the king.”

By this favor, Esther has saved the life of all her people, the Jews.

Now read 2 Corinthians 1:11;

As you help us by your prayers. Then many will give thanks on our behalf for the gracious favor granted us in answer to the prayers of many.

Also your prayers, could help people obtain favor from God to save their lifes.

C. Confirm God’s plan

Judges 6:17;

Gideon replied, “If now I have found favor in your eyes, give me a sign that it is really you talking to me.

Sometimes, you need to make an exact decision, not just a good  decision. And God’s favor will help you see which thing is not just good, but considered righteousness before His eyes.

D. Love God more

2 Chronicles 33:12-13;

In his distress he sought the favor of the LORD his God and humbled himself greatly before the God of his fathers. And when he prayed to him, the LORD was moved by his entreaty and listened to his plea; so he brought him back to Jerusalem and to his kingdom. Then Manasseh knew that the LORD is God.

Continue reading verse 14 to 16, you will see how Manasseh changed drastically from a man against God to a man who is zealous for the love to his God.

This is the best benefit of God’s favor. As we love Him more by His favor, then we will earn more favor from Him, and the circulation here is endless. This is how we see that God really wants to bless us more than we wanted to be blessed.

4. How to receive more of God’s favor :

A. Pray, ask for it

This is the ultimate way, for as we know the first attribute of God’s favor is that it is a grace, so only the Giver could give it more.

Job 33:26;

He prays to God and finds favor with him, he sees God’s face and shouts for joy; he is restored by God to his righteous state.

B. Get to know God more, and live by His Words

Read Proverbs 8:32-36;

Now then, my sons, listen to me; blessed are those who keep my ways. Listen to my instruction and be wise; do not ignore it. Blessed is the man who listens to me, watching daily at my doors, waiting at my doorway. For whoever finds me finds life and receives favor from the LORD. But whoever fails to find me harms himself; all who hate me love death.

And Proverbs 3:1-4;

My son, do not forget my teaching, but keep my commands in your heart, for they will prolong your life many years and bring you prosperity. Let mercy and truth never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. Then you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man.

Finally, let’s start the day always by strecthing out our hands towards heaven, asking for God to add more of His grace, especially the grace that strengthens us to live in love and obedience to Him, and also ask His favor that will bring the best of everything that will pass through our life. Conquer the day with Jesus Christ! God bless you!

Dark… So dark…
Where is the sun that was so bright…
Where is the sky that was so clear…
Where, where is the light…

It was when our ancestors, fallen into the temptation…
When the forbidden was revealed by the fruit of knowledge…

Since then we wept…
In sorrow and pain…
Lingered, suffering the bitterness of live…

And on the cursed land, we stood…
One by one, waiting for the time of our dooms came by…
The world of men, has fallen…

And by times, our corrupted heart began to fade…
Evil started to ingrained in human lore…
And we were all of us, changed…

Hatred… Vengeance…
Has been a part of us…

We forgot the taste of joy nor happiness…
We forgot the way to love…
We even forgot our names…

And along the endless journey of misery…
Our lonely souls wanders…
Whispering riddles in the dark…
Who am I?

You are special!
Created by the hands of God himself!
Awaken by His breath!
Filled with His spirit!
Redeemed by His blood!
Live by His love!
For none on this earth could be measured equal to you!
So live as what you are supposed to be!
The masterpiece of GOD!

A very interesting topic for a grown up Man, right? Well this topic is dedicated especially for men, but of course the ladies could enjoy reading it too.

First of all, I used the term excellent here, not perfect. Why? Because nobody’s perfect. According to Oxford English Dictionary, excellent means extremely good or outstanding. Not perfect, but at least close to.

But don’t get me wrong here, because I’m not talking about those tall ladies, with a smooth skin and a slender body, walking the stage of the cats (catwalk), or the princess Cinderella wearing glamorous dress with a bright deadly smile on her face. Well, I personally love these ladies, every man will do, but an excellent wife doesn’t have to own these attributes.

And I’m not also talking about the definition of an excellent wife here. We all have our own glasses to describe that. But as for myself, I’d have my Bible as a guide to describe how good a woman is. Read Proverbs 31:10-28, it gives a little illustration about how God values a woman. Well His standards, should have been ours. As you can see, verse 30 of the chapter said;

Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the LORD is to be praised.

So we know now, that all women could become virtuous, for it is a process, not an inheritance. God sees women from the inside, not the outside. So, is it wrong to have a beatiful wife? Of course not, Sarah was extremely pretty, Ribkah also was, and many other women mentioned in the Bible.

Okay, let’s start getting the points here :

1. The Law

Let’s start with the story of Adam. Genesis 2:22;

Then the LORD God made a woman from the rib he had taken out of the man, and he brought her to the man.

Here is a very basic principle for men. Adam has never seeked for Eve, but The Lord brought her to him. A wife is a gift from God, not something that we ought to look for seriously. Well it doesn’t mean that we’re just going to wait and do nothing, expecting a girl to ask us for a date, then waiting to be proposed. No, it doesn’t mean that, our culture taught us that the iniciative always comes from a man. But beware if it has been a burden, it should have been a blessing.

Sometimes I pity men who compete just to win a heart of a special woman. If only they knew that God has decided the winner from the first place, then I suppose they wouldn’t have done that.

Now read the story of how the servant of Abraham sought a wife for Isaac in Genesis 24:12;

Then He prayed, “O LORD, God of my master Abraham, give me success today, and show kindness to my master Abraham.”

The first thing he did, was to ask for God’s direction, and then he followed. That is the key, if there is this second case, when we feel that is has been our time to be with someone, but haven’t met her yet, then start to pray and ask for His counsel. Abraham knew his time was near and Isaac was ready to have a wife, so then he sent his servant.

Read Proverbs 19:14;

House and wealth are an inheritance from fathers, but a prudent wife is from the Lord.

After I read this verse many times, then I started to see that this verse could be talking about Isaac, where his father Abraham was rich, but still he couldn’t give the best wife for his son, and he knew only God could.

This verse also applied to us today. We might have a very rich father who could give us many valuable things, and he might even give a woman well known by the world for you. But, only your Father in heaven could give the best for you.

So we know now that a wife comes from The Lord. About whether if we are to ask of Him or not, it depends on us. I personally think that we shouldn’t have to ask because God knows what we need, just like He knew that Adam needed Eve. But if you think that you’re ready enough, but still single, you should have followed the way of Abraham’s servant, start praying!

So the laws here are easy, wait or pray…

2. The price

Now as we know, every thing of high value has a price.

Genesis 24:53;

Then the servant brought out gold and silver jewelry and articles of clothing and gave them to Rebekah; he also gave costly gifts to her brother and to her mother.

So expensive right? Of course, an excellent wife does cost much. Now read Proverbs 31:10;

A wife of noble character who can find? She is worth far more than rubies.

Rubies are one of the expensive stones. Those who are poor couldn’t afford buying it. Well diamonds are considered to be more expensive than rubies, but a ruby is harder to find, it is a rare gemstone, that’s why the Bible use it. Likewise a high valuable wife is expensive and hard to find.

Well, it isn’t easy to win Godly Women. For they are not easily seduced by ordinary guys. They fear the Lord. Now, what does this mean?

First, it means that they have certain requirements that a man must meet to have a serious relationship with them. Second, it means that they do not decide things recklessly just to meet their own desires, they live to please The Lord, not themselves. Third, it means that they know they have purposes that God has given them in their lives, and it’s absolutely impossible to be reached without the right man from Him.

Dear, if you want to have a wife who is so beautiful in the inside, then you yourself must have a great inner beauty. And how to obtain that? It is through your relationship with God. God doesn’t want us to stay being a baby, He wants us to grow, just like we physically grow. He will shape us when we’re becoming more intimate with Him. He will get rid of every weakness in us that blocks our inner beauty to shine bright. We’re like a gold being refined until it became pure and shiny.

This is the price we have to pay, being shaped by God.

And finally, there’s someone out there waiting for you. Someone so special because God made you and her special. And you are both created to be united. But less one of you fail, and will never meet one another.

If you say that you’re longing to have a wonderful companion besides you that will share everything for the rest of your life, and that you will trully love her from the deepest of your heart, then start to love her from now on.

Spend more time with God and live by His will, that He will shape you well, and pray that He also shape your companion as well, even if you still doesn’t know who she is until now. Because God will surely bring her to you when His time is perfect. God bless you…
